Liars.
don’t you hate it when parents don’t let their kids live their life the way they want to? i personally have that problem, my parents have always been unsupportive about everything, but i have a few friends whose parents are just as awful as mine. i don’t know if they believe that their kids will become good people by just keeping them from living their life.. but to me it doesn’t make any sense. if a person can’t even experience things as they grow up, or aren’t even allowed to do the smallest things, what do you think they’ll do once they’re older? or what kind of shit do you think they’ll secretly end up doing in order to rebel against their parents?
my parents never actually told me not to do drugs, never told me that alcohol was the devil and never told me that smoking cigarettes was horrible. and do i do any of those now? no… because i never felt the need to do any of those things. maybe if my parents would’ve always been super strict with me, i would have, just in order to piss them off, or to rebel against them. i really feel like the people who’ve got the most troubles as they grow up just didn’t have parents who truly cared about them, and listened to what they had to say. and it’s quite lame.
people often say i’m wrong when i say that “you are what your parents made you” well i guess it’s true. it’s all about the values that your parents should have given you. those who are reading might probably be like “what the hell is he talking about?”, i know it’s kind of a random topic, but i was thinking about it just now.well more than just now. few months to be exact.
